Kiana Doggan German is a design and communications specialist whose mission is to create meaningful spaces that at once are emotionally appealing yet transcend style and have a sense of permanence. Kiana has specialized in the areas of interior design, space planning, and technical writing since 2004. She spent the first 3 years of her career with Marshall Field's Interior Design Studio before venturing into the areas of social media and technical communication. Kiana believes in the importance of public service and often donates her time volunteering for a variety of community organizations including; The Detroit Institute of Arts, World Medical Relief, United Way, and Alternative Spring Break.
Kiana believes, "Design is a process, not a formula. Design follows logic but is open to the unexpected discoveries that come from experimentation and from making connections between seemingly disconnected ideas."
Kiana received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Eastern Michigan University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Technical and Professional Communication at Lawrence Technological University.
